Jojo- I love this quote! It's right up there with the best.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I just wanted to offer a few words of encouragement on the whole memory thing. Sadly, there really are only a few to offer.
Nearly 3 years out I still have what I KNOW to be chemo brain issues. And, yes, people do roll their eyes at me with little effort to hide the fact. How else can you explain using a word in a sentence one minute then being unable to grasp it from the recessess of your mind a mere 5 minutes later?
Writing does help, though. So keep it up! And best of love for you and your new girls.
i just started blogger and i came across your page because I'm really passionate about cancer. I've only read a few of your blogs but i have been touched by them so much! I have lost one close family member to cancer and I can't believe they went through that.
Stay strong and I look forward to seeing what is next for you
I'm a 47 year old wife and mother. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Feb of '08. This blog is a journal of my experiences with cancer.
My Procedure Tally: **needle biopsy**
**PET CT Scan**
**MRI**
**MRI guided biopsy**
**Lumpectomy/sentinel node removal**
**6 rounds of chemo**
**Positive BRCA2 gene test**
**Bi-lateral mastectomy with first stage reconstruction** **4 Expansion injections** **Exchange surgery to replace expanders with permanent implants** **bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy ** I think that's enough - don't you?

So you're in Little Rock, too?? Very small world! And isn't Barbara Graves the best?
