I am thankful for my family, my friends and for improving health.

I hope each of you have a wonderful holiday filled with family and friends.... and good health!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sherri Jo, It is so good to hear from you on my blog and then get reconnected on yours.

So it's been 7 months since I ended chemo and what I have to show is a 1.5 inch afro that behaves badly regardless of the product used. Yes vanity quickly creeps back in.

I'm mid month of my second month of tamoxifen which hasn't been so bad.

and it's only been a few weeks that my joints are completely killing me and I can feel my feet and not have my fingers do this weird clicking. Yep pretty back to normal in the nerve and joint area.

Of course this didn't stop lymphodemia from deciding to show up - and I'm waiting for my new $475 bra and pad (now that's a business to get into). you'd think it would at least be pink and have some bling on it, but no, it looks like old grandma underwear! But hey, if it stops the swelling and ache, I'm for it.

I don't at all think you are complaining, rather acknowledging what is true for you at the time - yes some times we physically hurt, some times we mentally are not fully present, and some times we are filled with gratitude and love. I think that's what I call living fully.

My thoughts are with you!

January 9th is simply a new chapter in your journey - yes it's a bummer we couldn't edit it out, and it becomes and means what you choose.

Hugs from Seattle, Michele
