Sherri Jo, Just reading all this for the first time and am overwhelmed with pride at how SMART and GUTSY you are. Sending you love an support. Hope you guys are having a great time on the slopes. Love, love, love to you and yours Allison
I hope you are having a good time on spring break, Sherri Jo. You are in everyone's thoughts and prayers here. It sounds like last week was a pretty rough time. Just remember, you don't always have to be tough. If you need someone to share a cup of coffee and a shoulder, call. Everyone from the Alliance that I talk with sends good thoughts.
Sherri Jo, Hope you are having a restful and replenishing (physically, emotionally, and spiritually) vacation. Tim and I are thinking a lot about you guys. Let us know if you need anything when you get back and begin the FULL REMISSION AND RECOVERY phase!! Take lots of vitamins & eat well (I am sure the Drs. already told you that). But also have a great time skiing or whatever you are doing out there! Lots of love and prayers, Cathy
I'm a 47 year old wife and mother. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Feb of '08. This blog is a journal of my experiences with cancer.
My Procedure Tally: **needle biopsy**
**PET CT Scan**
**MRI**
**MRI guided biopsy**
**Lumpectomy/sentinel node removal**
**6 rounds of chemo**
**Positive BRCA2 gene test**
**Bi-lateral mastectomy with first stage reconstruction** **4 Expansion injections** **Exchange surgery to replace expanders with permanent implants** **bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy ** I think that's enough - don't you?
