Oh, I love that picture--beauty all around, including that lovely woman with the knowing smile! You were so right to take this breather, a reminder that these moments are really what life's all about. Best wishes for "reentry" and sending calm and clarity your way as decisions approach. Be sure to get in that last run down the hill--it's the best! Jean
I almost forgot my secret weapon. My Mom sent me a Teddy Bear. All the way to the Cleveland Clinic. Something about a grown man with a Teddy Bear made the nurses stay with me longer. I also took him to UAMS.
You can borrow Teddy if ever you need. He's a good listener too.
I'm a 47 year old wife and mother. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Feb of '08. This blog is a journal of my experiences with cancer.
My Procedure Tally: **needle biopsy**
**PET CT Scan**
**MRI**
**MRI guided biopsy**
**Lumpectomy/sentinel node removal**
**6 rounds of chemo**
**Positive BRCA2 gene test**
**Bi-lateral mastectomy with first stage reconstruction** **4 Expansion injections** **Exchange surgery to replace expanders with permanent implants** **bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy ** I think that's enough - don't you?

Looks like you are taking in some great food for the soul.....great surroundings, great company, and a little rest/relaxation.
Have fun on the slopes!!!!

Three of the things things helped me get through my ordeals... Since of humor, letting go and trusting the system to catch me....and Eva Cassidy.
My laptop, emails at 2am and friends didn't hurt...
